The Audit Process

2. Document review and verification

The document review phase includes verifying required materials, addressing gaps, and confirming accuracy through meetings with key staff.

4. Report creations and corrections

Final audit reporting will include summary report preparation and a close-out meeting. Once quality assurance is complete, the report will be submitted to the certifying partner before the COR expiry date.

1. Planning and kick off

In this session, we will organize the audit process, confirm contacts and IT access, schedule check-ins, finalize registration and scope, plan interviews and travel, and address any outstanding items.

2. Document review and verification

The document review phase includes verifying required materials, addressing gaps, and confirming accuracy through meetings with key staff.

3. Interviews and observations

Interviews will be held virtually, in person, or both, across sites, departments, and employee levels to ensure a representative sample. The number required is determined by peak employee count. Site observations will be completed as outlined in the audit protocol.

4. Report creations and corrections

Final audit reporting will include summary report preparation and a close-out meeting. Once quality assurance is complete, the report will be submitted to the certifying partner before the COR expiry date.

5. Post audit and close out

The audit close-out includes an in-person meeting, submission of the audit, and completion of any required corrections. All corrections are to be made within 48 hours.
